General

• We cater to all ages of patients, however same categories are subsidised or free.

School Pupils

• Patients from year 9 to age 18 are treated at no charge for general dental care whether they are at school, unemployed or working (excludes orthodontic extractions).

Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC)

• ACC will cover the full cost of basic treatment for teeth that have been involved in an accident since 1974.
• There may be a surcharge for complicated treatments such as crowns, bridges, implants, dentures and root fillings.
• This will be discussed at the time of treatment.

Work and Income New Zealand (WINZ)

• WINZ may help with payment for treatment for eligible patients.
